Leo Berriman is a creative and intelligent attacking midfielder who
combines strong athleticism, technical quality and excellent decision
making in possession. Comfortable operating between the lines, Leo
is known for his football intelligence, vision and ability to influence
games in the final third through both goals and assists.
Having progressed through academy systems from a young age, Leo
gained valuable experience with York City, Middlesbrough and
Barnsley, building a strong technical and tactical foundation
throughout a seven year academy journey. Following his academy
development, he transitioned into senior football, gaining competitive
semi professional experience with Goole AFC and Winterton Rangers,
where he recorded 4 goals and 9 assists in 21 appearances.
A former Category One academy player at Middlesbrough, Leo has
consistently competed in high performance environments and
understands the standards required at the professional level. Now a
free agent, he is seeking an opportunity to continue his development
within a full time or higher level football environment where his
creative qualities, work ethic and attacking contributions can be fully
utilised.
